Manager Accountant, Tax (DALLAS, TX)
Overview
We have a tremendous opportunity for a Manager Accountant to play a key role on our Tax team. We have openings for candidates residing in and around Dallas, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and/or review complex business and individual tax returns
- Develop effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services
- Identify and research tax issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusions
- Aid in the developing, training, and mentoring of staff and interns
- Recognize opportunities to provide new and innovative services
- Be willing to learn new tax skills offered by the diverse client base at The Bonadio Group
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting
- An active CPA certification
- A minimum of five years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent experience
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with aptitude to learn firm technology, present and future
Hours of Operation
Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and (discretionary) from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday. We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times.

Qualifications
We are looking for a Manager Accountant with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an active CPA certification. A minimum of five years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent experience is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn firm technology are also essential.
