Manager - Accessioning, Liquid Profiling

Job Responsibilities

• Manages all Accessioning Supervisors and oversees all case workflow activities.
• Adheres to the laboratory’s quality control policies, documents all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed.
• Follows the laboratory’s established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory’s established acceptable level of performance.
• Documents all corrective action taken when a system deviates from the laboratory’s established performance specifications.
• Aids in the tracking, accumulation, and computation of performance metrics.
• Ensures Accessioning has adequate inventories of supplies.
• Solves employee relations issues and recommends disciplinary action when required in partnership with Human Resources.
• Acts as first point of contact on questions. Keeps team informed of new processes and general updates.
• Aids in performing other related duties and special projects to support other departments as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline
• 3+ years of experience in general laboratory operations required.
• 1 year of leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of leadership experience in high-volume reference laboratory setting
