About the role
JAM Industries, one of the largest distributors of consumer electronic goods, pro-audio equipment, and musical instruments, is seeking a highly motivated Documentation Specialist Training Manager to join the team at the Southaven, MS location.
Responsibilities
- Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
- Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
- Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.
- Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors.
- Conduct and document Lessons Learned and Best Practice Reviews.
- Assess the impact of training programs.
- Prepare training budget for all departments.
- Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience with at least 7-10 years of related experience.
- Strong communications skills, written and spoken.
- Proficient in analyzing and solving problems related to projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Strong ability to give attention to details.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
