Manager, Process Improvement

About the role

Provide clear direction and foster a high-performance culture. Coach, mentor, and evaluate team performance. Track and improve processes using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Monitor key performance indicators including downtime, maintenance cost, and reliability. Lead or participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and HAZOP studies. Support identification and management of Safety Critical Elements (SCEs). Manage CAPEX projects including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., manufacturing, chemical engineering).
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in the polysilicon/chemical plant.
• General and special understanding of chemical plant equipment and processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and overtime if required.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Holding a valid Technologist Title under the Malaysian Board of Technologists is an added advantage.
