Management Analyst
The Role
NapaSan is seeking a Management Analyst to join its Administration Department. This role performs a wide variety of professional-level administrative, analytical, and project management duties, conducting research and analysis on operational, fiscal, organizational, and policy matters while developing recommendations to support District programs, projects, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Perform professional-level research, analysis, and reporting on complex administrative, fiscal, operational, and organizational matters.
Assist in the development, monitoring, and analysis of departmental and District-wide budgets, including budget-to-actual comparisons and variance explanations.
Research, interpret, and apply applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and District policies, and assist in drafting administrative policy and procedure documents.
Coordinate special projects involving multiple departments, tracking timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
Conduct surveys, benchmarking studies, and comparative analyses of programs, services, or practices.
Aids in the coordination and administration of District programs, including human resources, risk management, contracts and procurement, records management, and communications.
Prepares and reviews agenda items, staff reports, resolutions, and related materials for the Board of Directors, committees, or District management.
Monitor and summarize legislative updates affecting public sector employers and prepare written summaries and compliance alerts.
Develops and maintains spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and other tools to support data analysis, tracking, and reporting needs.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public administration, business administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressively responsible professional experience performing administrative, analytical, budgetary, or program support work, preferably in a public agency setting.
Pay & Benefits
Current salary range: $64.04 – 77.84 per hour (Exempt) + Excellent Benefits
Work Conditions
Employees work in an office environment with controlled temperature conditions, moderate noise levels, and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. Occasional night and weekend participation in special events.
