About the role

We are seeking a Managed Services Engineer to operate, maintain, automate, and continuously improve cloud-based platforms that support enterprise-grade, real-time visualization applications built with Unreal Engine. The role focuses on reliable operation of cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes-based deployments, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, incident handling, and managed service delivery, working closely with software developers, Unreal Engine developers, DevOps engineers, and customer-facing teams to ensure stable, secure, scalable, observable, and cost-efficient platform operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and managed services, primarily on AWS
  • Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot applications on Kubernetes, especially Amazon EKS
  • Support Kubernetes deployment workflows, including Helm charts, manifests, configuration management, scaling, and rollout strategies
  • Maintain and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, deployments, and release workflows
  • Operate and support monitoring, logging, and observability solutions, including Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus
  • Monitor platform health, performance, availability, reliability, and cost efficiency across cloud environments
  • Support backend services, APIs, session management, authentication, orchestration, and telemetry systems
  • Deploy and operate GPU/media-focused infrastructure for Unreal Engine visualization, AI inference workloads, and WebRTC-based low-latency streaming
  • Perform incident analysis, root-cause investigation, and operational troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth handover from development into production operations
  • Implement and maintain secure authentication, authorization, networking, IAM, certificates, and data protection standards
  • Manage object storage and shared file systems for media-heavy workflows, including images, video, AI content, and Unreal Engine assets
  • Contribute to automation, documentation, runbooks, deployment standards, and operational best practices
  • Support zero-downtime deployment strategies, rollback procedures, and release coordination
  • Participate in on-call or support processes where required

Qualifications

  • Strong AWS experience
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes deployments on Amazon EKS
  • Good understanding of GitLab-based development and deployment workflows
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is beneficial but not required
