Role Overview
The PDI Fuel Management team is seeking a Managed Services Analyst I to provide fuel inventory management and accounting services for customers who outsource their fuel management to PDI. The role supports fuel management, logistics distribution, and fuel reconciliation services using PDI software.
Responsibilities
- Bulk Fuel Inventory Management
- Actively monitor designated customer’s tank readings
- Plan deliveries as indicated by current fuel level and average daily usage
- Maintain relationships with suppliers & carriers to support customer’s fuel management program
- Make fuel procurement or financial decisions independently within established guidelines
- Participate in an on-call rotation requiring weekend and overnight availability
- Customer Service
- Receive customer calls / emails, providing a warm, pleasant, and helpful attitude
- Identify and resolve customer problems through direct interaction or other departments
- Ensure timely communication with customers throughout the process
- Fuel Accounting Services
- Review and correct customer bulk fuel vendor invoice exceptions
- Collaborate with fuel vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies
- Process and review fuel transactions, including purchases, deliveries, and sales activity
- Track fuel inventory levels, costs, pricing, and volumes for accurate financial reporting and margin analysis
- Reconcile fuel-related data across multiple systems, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Prepare and manage customer statements while maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Support customer operations by partnering with internal teams
- Aid in reporting and analysis to support customer decision-making and operational performance
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatch, fuel accounting, or a related field required
- Petroleum industry experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and work with large data sets
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Comfortable working with systems, spreadsheets, and data entry
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed to support the on-call rotation

Pay and Schedule
Starting compensation of $16/Hr. This is an hourly position.
