Cash Reconciliation Operations Analyst

A leading global trading and investment firm is seeking a Revenue & Fee Operations Analyst to join its Finance team in Chicago. This individual will be responsible for validating and reconciling clearing, exchange, regulatory fees, and rebates, ensuring accuracy across fee calculations while helping reduce financial risk to the business. This is a highly visible position that partners closely with Accounting, Clearing, Operations, and various business teams.Key Responsibilities:Reconcile clearing, exchange, and regulatory fees against broker and exchange reportsInvestigate, resolve, and document fee discrepancies and outstanding reconciliation itemsReview invoices and statements for calculation errors, fee variances, and setup issuesAssist in enhancing fee reconciliation procedures, controls, and processesPrepare monthly reconciliation reports and support fee schedule updatesPartner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate fee allocation and reportingAnalyze data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and potential process improvementsRequirements:2 - 6+ years of experience in reconciliations, operations, accounting, finance, or a related functionAdvanced Excel skills and experience with SQL; Python is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills
