About the Role

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a mid-level to senior lawyer to join its Managed Care Disputes team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managed care litigation, with location flexibility across all US offices.

Responsibilities

  • Handle reimbursement disputes between healthcare providers and payors.
  • Analyze intricate legal and factual issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Convey complex legal and factual concepts clearly and concisely through excellent verbal and written communication.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in managed care litigation, ideally gained at a large or specialized firm.
  • Significant experience in provider-side representation with an ongoing active interest in managed care litigation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex legal and factual issues.
  • Willingness to gain admission to the Texas State Bar.

Qualifications

Open to Associate, Counsel, and Senior Counsel level candidates. Counsel and Senior Counsel positions offer opportunities for professional advancement, including progression to Senior Counsel and potential future consideration for Partnership.

Location

This position may be based in any of our US offices: Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, San Antonio, San Francisco, St. Louis, or Washington, DC.

Pay

The full-time base annual salary for this position in the New York City, Denver, Los Angeles, and San Francisco markets is expected to range between $270,000–$455,000. Salaries in other markets will vary depending on market data. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and dependent upon individual and firm performance.
