Responsibilities
- Position patients and operate imaging equipment for mammography and bone density procedures following MQSA and ACR guidelines.
- Ensure precise and consistent imaging, especially in Bone Density assessments.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols by following ALARA principles.
- Utilize electronic health systems effectively and ensure accurate image storage in PACS.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities as directed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered in Radiology and Mammography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Current BCLS certification.
- ISCD certification in Bone Density is preferred; training provided for the right candidate.
- Two years' experience preferred but not mandatory.
