Responsibilities
- Perform mammography procedures with accuracy and care
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for effective patient care
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification
- A valid state license
- BLS certification
Qualifications
- Mammography-specific certifications preferred
- Prior imaging or mammography experience preferred
- Ongoing training in mammography
Physical and Technical Skills
- Ability to read labels, operate monitors, and assess patient needs
- Manual dexterity for handling delicate equipment
- Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients
- Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate busy environments
