Intermountain Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our Breast Care team at Intermountain Medical Center. This role provides high-quality outpatient imaging services in a collaborative, patient-focused environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Schedule

  • Day-shift schedule only — no nights, no call, no holidays
  • Limited weekend rotation (clinic open one Saturday per month; approx. 1–2 Saturday shifts per year)
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • 10-hour shifts
  • Typical hours: approximately 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay

$35.60 - $54.93 per hour, dependent upon experience.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Rad Tech license in state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers

Qualifications

  • ARRT Mammography certification or currently attending and receiving formal training to cross-train in mammography
  • Experience in Imaging (preferred)
  • Experience in Mammography (preferred)
  • Open to cross-training technologists from other imaging modalities
  • ARRT (R) X-ray licensure required
  • Mammography training pathways supported

Physical Requirements

  • Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, and identify equipment and supplies.
  • Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors requiring clear verbal communication, hearing, and understanding of spoken information, alarms, and needs, particularly during emergencies.
  • Manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision, including frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care and accessing information.
  • Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients, bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment, including heavy items.
  • Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining/distributing supplies and equipment, including pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment.
  • Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.).
  • May be expected to stand in a stationary position for long periods.
