Mammography Technologist Trainee
About the role
Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Mammography Trainee for a current Radiology Technologist interested in training into Mammography. This structured, hands-on training program is designed to prepare the candidate for ARRT Mammography Certification while fulfilling ARRT and MQSA requirements. In this role, you will complete required mammography-specific training, supervised exams, clinical documentation, quality control tasks, and work closely with designated training technologists and radiologists to develop mammographic imaging skills. Candidates should have a strong interest in women's health, excellent communication skills, and the ability to commit to a full-time training schedule.
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
- Current WA State Radiology Technologist license
- Eligible for ARRT mammography registry
- Prior experience in a clinical radiology setting preferred
- Familiarity with mammography equipment and digital imaging systems preferred
- The ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas is an essential function of all positions at the Clinic
Schedule
Monday - Friday 7:00AM to 4:00PM
Pay
Hiring range generally between $36.60/hour to $45.88/hour, and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.
