Mammography Technologist - PRN

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures following radiologist protocols, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.
• Input patient information accurately, maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating compassion.
• Ensure radiologic services meet standards set by regulatory bodies and maintain quality assurance.
• Stock exam rooms, maintain equipment, and report malfunctions.
• Conduct X-rays, bone densities, and other assigned duties.
• Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively, and promote teamwork.
• Maintain necessary credentials and stay current with certifications.

Requirements

• 2+ years of mammography experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology course.
• Current ARRT certification and Florida licensure, with additional mammography certification.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Proficiency in patient positioning, diagnostic imaging, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, sit/stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks required.
