Mammography Technologist - PRN

Role: Mammography Technologist responsible for performing mammography imaging to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Key Duties: Operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, maintain high-quality images, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with completed clinical hours. No prior experience required. State licensure may be necessary based on location. Certification from the ARRT or eligibility, with registry achieved within 6 months. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Preferred Skills: Proficiency in diagnostic imaging, knowledge of advanced procedures, machine operation, radiation safety, and emergency protocols. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical movements such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
