The Mammography Technologist performs diagnostic mammography imaging to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Operating imaging equipment
- Ensuring patient safety
- Maintaining high-quality images
- Effectively communicating with patients and healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited imaging program
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or eligibility
- BLS certification within 30 days
