Mammography Technologist (Part-Time)

Seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist with certification in Mammography and Radiography, and BLS certification. Role & Responsibilities Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures independently, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and proper identification.Set up and operate radiographic equipment, adjusting techniques to optimize image quality and report equipment issues promptly.Obtain comprehensive clinical histories, assess contraindications, and respond effectively to emergencies.Explain procedures clearly to patients, address questions, and provide preparatory instructions using patient-centered communication techniques.Maintain equipment, meet quality standards, and document procedures accurately for compliance and accreditation.Assist with department operations, including patient transport, supply restocking, and supporting team members as needed.Adhere to all policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards, ensuring continuous professional development. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 1 year radiologic technology experience, with preferred mammography expertise.Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure.Deep understanding of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and imaging techniques.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
