Join our Radiology Mammography Department at MetroHealth! Responsibilities
- Performs breast imaging procedures utilizing dedicated breast imaging equipment for the diagnosis of breast cancer and diseases.
- Provides appropriate age-specific patient care.
- Performs quality assurance appropriate for mammography.
- Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in mammography within 1 year of employment.
- Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or obtains within the standard probationary period.
- Effective communications and good interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of job-related experience.
- Previous experience in the use of computers dedicated to mammography equipment and special procedures.
Physical Requirements
- May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
- May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs.
- May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
- See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
- Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
