Mammography Technologist

Position Overview

As a Staff Mammographer, you will operate all breast imaging equipment located in the Breast Center for the purposes of performing screening and diagnostic mammography exams, and assisting with needle localizations, stereotactic breast biopsies and ultrasound biopsies. Performs DEXA scans for osteoporosis studies, according to physician orders.

Qualifications

• ARRT certified in Mammography with current registration.
• Certification in DEXA modality preferred.
• A minimum of 3-6 months experience performing mammography procedures is required.

Skills

• Knowledge of mammography procedures and equipment.
• Ability to interpret radiologic images.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay and Schedule

• $38.00 - $44.00 per hour (Based on location and experience).
• Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
