Mammography Technologist - Kenmore - Atrius Health

Position Overview: A Mammography Technologist I works under the guidance of a radiologist to perform mammography exams following MQSA, state regulations, and organizational policies. Key Responsibilities: Obtain patient history, confirm clinical data, and produce high-quality images with minimal radiation dose.Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality while effectively communicating with patients and healthcare team members.Identify and report equipment issues promptly and maintain continuing education documentation.Participate in training new mammographers and cover other locations when needed. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited radiography program.Licensed in Radiography for over a year and passed ARRT Mammography exam.Must hold a mammography license in the state of Massachusetts.Preferred: BLS certification, knowledge of MQSA/ACR regulations, PACS, and healthcare delivery.
