Mammography Technologist - Imaging Mammography

Responsibilities

• Performed examinations/procedures as needed to assist in patient throughput within the scope of the Manager’s license(s), certification(s), and/or documented competencies.

• Ensured completed exams were scanned and stored correctly in PACS.
• Performed other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in medical imaging required, 1 year of mammography experience preferred.
• Basic computer experience required.

Education/Skills

• Radiography (R) by ARRT required.
• Mammography (M) by ARRT required within 1 year of hire.
• State Licensure required: Texas - MRT by TMB, Louisiana - LRT (R) or (F) by LSRT, New Mexico - RRT by MIRTP NMED.
• BLS required.
