IMAGING TECHNOLOGIST

Job Summary

She/He will be responsible for quality patient care that reflects the mission and values of Ozark Health Medical Center.

Mandatory Certifications and Licenses

• Maintain a current state and national license as applicable.
• Stay current on BLS and other essential certifications relevant to the job position.

Patient Safety and Imaging Needs

• Ensure patient safety and successful accomplishment of patient imaging needs.
• Know X-ray and CT protocols and other relevant protocols.
• Use equipment appropriately and safely according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Administer and know about the administration of intravenous contrast and its side effects.

Communication and Teamwork

• Communicate effectively and productively with patients and fellow staff members.
• Work well with others and independently within the scope of their license.
