About the role

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic mammography services in accordance with physician orders and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mammography imaging, position patients comfortably, and develop films with proper techniques.
  • Evaluate image quality, verify physician orders, and ensure proper patient identification.
  • Input patient data accurately into computer systems and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Provide excellent customer service, explain procedures, and address patient concerns.
  • Ensure radiation safety, perform equipment checks, and adhere to regulatory standards (MQSA/ACR).
  • Monitor patients during procedures, respond to contrast reactions, and assist with first aid if needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized radiology room and participate in safety and quality assurance activities.
  • Collaborate with team members, participate in shift rotations, and follow all safety protocols and policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and Basic Life Support certification.
  • State of Washington Mammography Technologist certification and AART-M registration, or willingness to train with two years of radiology experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

Preferred: one year of mammography experience.
