About the role

Seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mammography procedures per physician orders while ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Prepare equipment, develop films, and evaluate image quality
  • Provide patient education and address concerns to alleviate anxiety
  • Ensure accurate patient information entry into computer systems
  • Maintain radiation safety standards and perform quality assurance activities
  • Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to adverse reactions
  • Adhere to regulatory standards such as MQSA and OSHA policies
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in shift rotations, including specialty and portable procedures

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and Basic Life Support certification
  • State certification as Mammography Technologist and ARRT-M registration preferred or will train with relevant experience
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills

Preferred qualifications

  • At least one year in mammography
