About the role
Seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography procedures per physician orders while ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare equipment, develop films, and evaluate image quality
- Provide patient education and address concerns to alleviate anxiety
- Ensure accurate patient information entry into computer systems
- Maintain radiation safety standards and perform quality assurance activities
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to adverse reactions
- Adhere to regulatory standards such as MQSA and OSHA policies
- Collaborate with team members and participate in shift rotations, including specialty and portable procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and Basic Life Support certification
- State certification as Mammography Technologist and ARRT-M registration preferred or will train with relevant experience
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Preferred qualifications
- At least one year in mammography
