Mammography Technologist - FT Day Shift - Breast Imaging
Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not-for-profit organization supported by over 900 medical staff members and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. The system includes approximately 15,000 team members and over 90 physician practices across an 18-county service area, with seven hospitals, three health and fitness centers, a sports medicine and outpatient rehabilitation center, and hospice and home health services.
About the role
Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. Performs all Breast Imaging examinations during scheduled hours and all other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedures based on body habits, pathology, and body parts.
- Processes completed images to ensure they are of interpretable quality.
- Continues to develop professionalism through continuing education programs and in-services.
- Complies with all system policies to deliver the highest quality of service.
Requirements
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Graduate of an Accredited Associate Program and ARRT Registry Eligible
- ARRT obtained within 90 days of hire
- SC Limited License (Required)
Schedule
Full-time, day shift. 80 hours biweekly.
Department hours of operation: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday.
Pay
$10,000 sign-on bonus available with a 2-year commitment.
