Mammography Technologist - Breast Center

Position Overview

Per Diem Mammography Technologist responsible for performing high-quality breast imaging procedures in a supportive, state-of-the-art environment. Collaborates closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mammograms according to ACR standards, adapting views based on protocols and patient needs.
• Assist radiologists with specialized breast imaging procedures.
• Maintain expertise in mammography equipment and advanced diagnostic technology.
• Provide compassionate patient care and respond to inquiries from patients and staff.
• Build positive working relationships within the healthcare network.

Qualifications & Skills

• Successful completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology Program.
• Active NYS Radiologic Technologist License.
• Current ARRT registration with Mammography Certification.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Must meet MQSA compliance, including mammography training, CME credits, and recent mammogram experience.
• Ability to perform acceptable mammograms, assist with procedures, and develop good patient rapport.
