Responsibilities

  • Understands, promotes, and demonstrates the Solis Way
  • Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique
  • Effectively communicates to patients the procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health
  • Effectively communicates on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees
  • Applies common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions
  • Maintains patient-first focus at all times and exhibits outstanding customer service skills
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography
  • ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible
  • Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT
  • High School Diploma; Associates degree preferred
  • Must possess non-restricted licensure in state work location
  • Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software is preferred
  • Two years of experience in mammography is preferred
  • Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred
  • Prior quality control experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

Qualifications

Amount offered may vary in an amount of up to $15,000 depending upon experience level, location and qualifications.

Pay

$45.00-$55.00 commensurate with experience

Schedule

Full Time, Monday-Friday, Day Shift and occasional Saturdays
