Mammography Technologist

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic and other equipment/devices according to established policies and protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images promptly while providing excellent patient care.
• Maintain patient well-being during exams; address patient discomfort or medical issues appropriately.
• Communicate with physicians regarding patient needs and provide guidance during exams.
• Safeguard patient property and health information in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Handle on-site medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Show respect for company and patient property, including financial information.
• Interact professionally and empathetically with patients, guests, and colleagues.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Requirements

• ARRT(R)(M) certification.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• BLS certification.
• One year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Pay

Pay Range: $36.00-$44.00 per hour.
