About the role
Perform high-quality mammography exams, including advanced procedures such as stereotactic biopsies and clip placements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency
- Ensure proper patient identification
- Prepare patients for exams
- Operate mammographic equipment
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols
- Provide patient education and ensure comfort
- Practice infection control
- Accurately document procedures
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Valid Rad Tech license
- BLS certification
- ARRT registration
- Preferred: mammography-specific ARRT certification or ongoing training
- Preferred: imaging or mammography experience
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to lift and assist with patient movement
- Stamina for standing and walking
- Ability to read labels, operate monitors, and navigate busy environments
Pay
Compensation ranges from $35.25 to $54.39 per hour.
Schedule
Flexible shifts from 07:00 to 18:30.
