Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide safe, high-quality imaging while supporting patients with compassion and professionalism. In this role, you will perform mammography exams, review images for quality, operate equipment safely, and ensure accurate documentation in PACS/RIS. You will also gather patient history, explain procedures, protect patient privacy, and assist with transfers, maintaining a focus on patient comfort and safety. Key responsibilities include adhering to quality control protocols, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting team training. You will communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment, applying strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and mammography best practices. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.At least 1 year of radiologic technologist experience, including mammography in a hospital setting.Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS from the American Heart Association. Skills & Attributes Technical proficiency with mammography equipment and quality control standards.Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.Ability to operate in a fast-paced clinical environment with attention to detail.
