Mammography Technologist

About the role

Performs advanced invasive and non-invasive mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic imaging, using ionizing radiation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute specialized mammography techniques
• Ensure quality and safety in diagnostic imaging
• Support overall patient care
• Perform mammography procedures
• Maintain equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Comply with all regulatory and organizational standards

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or completion of a two-year technical program in Radiologic Technology
• Washington Radiologic Technologist certification
• Certification in mammography within one year of hire
• BLS certification
• ARRT registration
• Additional training in breast ultrasound
• Experience in screening mammography
