About the role
We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography examinations in accordance with physicians' orders, utilizing advanced imaging equipment while considering patient-specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mammograms accurately to produce high-quality images.
- Apply knowledge of imaging techniques, patient care, and safety standards.
- Ensure optimal imaging outcomes through judgment and technical skills.
Qualifications
- Certification, license, or registration as required by state and national standards.
- Oregon Radiographer License and American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire.
- Registered Technologist in Radiography and Mammography, with Mammography registration needed within 6 months of hire.
Skills
- Technical proficiency in mammography equipment and imaging techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
