About the Role

Join our team as a day-shift, PRN Mammography Tech in Tulsa, OK. This role supports the early detection and diagnosis of breast disease through the delivery of high-quality breast imaging services. The position contributes to positive patient outcomes by producing accurate diagnostic images while promoting patient safety, comfort, and dignity. The Mammography Tech maintains responsibility for compliance with breast imaging regulations, quality standards, and departmental expectations, and collaborates with radiologists and healthcare professionals to support timely clinical decision-making and exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography.
  • Knowledge of mammography procedures, breast anatomy, and radiation safety principles.
  • Skill in operating mammography and breast imaging equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy, professionalism, and patient confidentiality.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • 3+ years of mammography experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certification in digital breast tomosynthesis.
  • Knowledge of advanced breast imaging technologies and workflows.
  • Skill in supporting breast interventional procedures.
  • Ability to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient experience goals.
