Mammography Technologist

Role Overview

Perform mammographic imaging of the breast to assist in diagnosing and treating breast diseases, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mammograms and prepare patients for imaging procedures.
• Assist in maintaining accurate imaging records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment functionality.
• Support patient comfort and address their concerns during procedures.
• Ensure all imaging equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Completed training in radiological technology.
• California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety standards and maintain confidentiality.
