Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams
• Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality images
• Ensure imaging meets radiologist diagnostic standards
• Provide clear communication and reassurance during exams
• Follow imaging protocols and safety procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologist teammates

Qualifications

• Enjoys helping patients feel comfortable during medical procedures
• Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality imaging

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification
• Virginia Radiologic Technologist license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred:

• Mammography experience
• DXA experience (training may be available)

Pay

Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is: $39.10 - $52.90 per hour. This position includes a structured career ladder that provides opportunities for professional development and increased compensation as you advance. Placement within the range is determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, and internal equity.
