Wage range: $45.08 - $75.31 per hour. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications, or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education, and internal equity. Sign-on bonus: Up to $7,500.00 for new employees, pro-rated based on FTE.
About the role
Applies prescribed ionizing radiation in performing radiologic mammography procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision of technical detail for diagnostic purposes under the prescription of a physician.
Responsibilities
- Sets, adjusts, and controls radiology equipment to apply ionizing radiation for radiologic procedures.
- Measures and selects proper electronics and technical factors such as kilovolts, milliamperes, and exposure time.
- Consistently produces high-quality images and interprets technical quality of images as related to quality assurance standards.
- Analyzes patient's general body size, physical condition, and age to accurately perform radiologic examinations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.
- Completed training specific to mammography from a recognized institution.
- ARRT advanced certification in Mammography or obtain within 6 months of hire date.
- WA State licensure – Radiologic Technologist.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS – American Heart Association by start date.
Qualifications

- 1 year of experience in a radiology setting for staff position.
- 3 years of experience/supervision for Lead position.
