Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services in a collaborative healthcare environment. Responsibilities Include Performing mammography exams accurately and safely according to physician orders and protocolsGathering patient history, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and privacyReviewing images for quality and completeness, maintaining first-time acceptance standardsOperating equipment safely, optimizing techniques, and adhering to infection control guidelinesCompleting quality control tests, accurate labeling, documentation, and ensuring equipment readinessProviding patient instructions, addressing questions, and supporting team trainingMaintaining a clean, stocked suite and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standardsCommunicating professionally within a fast-paced team environment and staying current with required education Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology programMinimum 1 year of radiologic technologist experience and 1 year of mammography experience in a hospital settingCertifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-M (Mammography), and BLS (American Heart Association) Skills: Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, positioning, and mammography best practices, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
