Mammography Technologist

About the role

Performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures using specialized X-ray equipment to image breast tissue. Collaborates with radiologists to interpret results, aiding in early detection of breast cancer to enhance treatment success and survival rates.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography imaging
• Collaborate with radiologists for accurate interpretation of results
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and health standards
• Maintain patient safety and comfort

Requirements

• Current State License or Certificate in the applicable state
• Preferably, one year of experience as a Mammography Technician
• Current CPR certification, if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable
• Current health certificate as per regulations
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Minimum age of 18 years
