Mammography Technologist

Role Overview: A Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality breast imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and collaborating with radiologists and healthcare staff to deliver exceptional clinical outcomes. This role involves operating and maintaining mammography equipment, educating patients about the imaging process, and supporting workflow efficiency. Key Responsibilities Conduct diagnostic mammography exams following established protocolsEnsure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout proceduresOperate and maintain imaging equipmentCollaborate with medical team to support efficient patient careAssist with training and mentoring staff while adhering to safety and regulatory standards Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology ProgramARRT Certification in Mammography (ARRT-M) and an active Massachusetts Radiology/Mammography LicenseStrong knowledge of mammography procedures and breast imaging equipmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyFocus on quality, accuracy, and patient-centered care Work Environment: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with no weekends or overnight shifts, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
