Mammography Technologist 3

Responsibilities

• Arranges patients for Mammography examinations.
• Produces Mammography images to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.
• Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.
• Ensures patient safety by using pre-established imaging protocols, and screenings for of all patients.
• Utilizes departmental policy to perform safe operation of equipment and all functions of the job.
• Provides complete pre and post education to patients and family.
• Absorbs and evaluates competency level of others as preceptor.
• Leads and directs the work of others.
• Reports to Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications

• 5 years Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
• Current State License, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT (R) or Registry Eligible
• Basic Life Support, BLS - HCP
