Mammography Technician PRN
About the Role
Performs technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for detecting pathology. Operates mammography equipment, maintains records, and develops and organizes films for presentation to the radiologist. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with co-workers, other departments, and medical staff. Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
- ARRT-M Mammography certification (must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date)
- ARRT-R Radiography (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification
- Vocational School Graduate
- One year of experience required
