Mammography Technician - Full Time

About the role

An experienced Mammography Technician responsible for performing specialized breast examinations to assist in diagnosing and treating breast diseases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic mammography procedures adhering to established protocols and quality standards.
• Operate mammography equipment safely and accurately.
• Position patients comfortably to obtain high-quality images.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff for accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain imaging records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current ARRT Mammography (M) certification.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology for New Jersey.
• BLS certification.
• Preferred: at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience, including mammography.
• Proficiency in digital mammography systems.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or within a team.
