About the Role

As a Mammography Technologist Trainee, you will join a dedicated team of professionals delivering quality, value, and access in 21st-century healthcare. This role offers dynamic cross-training and advancement opportunities in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar (including 8 hours of digital mammography training; RadNet will reimburse you).
• Complete 8 hours of training in Tomosynthesis (RadNet will reimburse you).
• Receive hands-on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam and become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguard onsite medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, respecting patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Requirements

• Current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• Interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and other procedures.
• Resilient, adaptable, and compassionate demeanor to provide a calm and professional healthcare experience.
• Quick thinking and ability to take appropriate action in emergent situations.

Pay

$22.55 - $36.00 per hour
