Mammography Tech- Full Time- Days- St. Mary's Breast Center
Full-time day shift position as a Mammography Technologist within St. Peter's Health Partners, covering multiple departments in Medical Imaging.
About the Role
Under the direction of the Breast Center Director, the Mammography Technologist performs mammography, breast localization, and stereotactic diagnostic procedures in accordance with department ACR and MQSA guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Obtains, reviews, and records patient history form, including complete clinical history pertinent to the procedure
- Instructs patients on the nature of the exam, explains procedures to baseline patients, and reviews procedures with others
- Demonstrates accurate positioning according to department and ACR guidelines
- Ensures films meet department quality control standards for patient ID labeling, positioning, technique, and overall exam quality
- Accurately completes all required documentation related to patient care, imaging exams, and RIS procedures
Requirements
- AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent hospital-based certificate program)
- Current ARRT registration and NYS license required
- RRT and Mammography registry preferred
Pay
Pay range: $34.70 - $48.60 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary based on location.
