Mammography Tech- Full Time- Days- St. Mary's Breast Center

About the Role

This full-time, day-shift Mammography Technologist position covers multiple departments within Medical Imaging at St. Peter's Health Partners, where career opportunities and quality of life converge. Responsibilities

• Obtains, reviews, and records patient history, including complete clinical history pertinent to the procedure.
• Instructs patients on the nature of the exam, explains procedures to baseline patients, and reviews procedures with others.
• Demonstrates accurate positioning according to department and ACR guidelines.
• Ensures films meet department quality control standards for patient ID labeling, positioning, technique, and overall exam quality.
• Accurately completes all required documentation related to patient care, imaging exams, and RIS procedures.
• Performs mammography, breast localization, and stereotactic diagnostic procedures in accordance with department ACR and MQSA guidelines under the direction of the Breast Center Director.

Requirements

• AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent hospital-based certificate program).
• Current ARRT registration and NYS license required.
• RRT and Mammography registry preferred.

Pay

Pay range: $34.70–$48.60 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The range may vary based on location.
