About the role
Operates mammography equipment to produce radiographs of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Performs all types of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certified in Mammography (or will be within 1 year of hire) meeting requirements to perform mammography as defined in the ACR/FDA/MQSA standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in mammography
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
