Responsibilities
- Perform precise mammography procedures
- Educate patients about their procedures and the importance of regular mammography
- Accurately position patients and validate image quality, data, and markers
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols
- Maintain equipment performance and keep procedure environments pristine
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate's degree/Technical degree
- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
