Mammography Tech Assistant

About the role

University Radiology, a leading provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Mammography Tech Assistant for their Elizabeth, NJ Imaging Office.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients and prepare them for the exam
• Patient film and report coordination
• Possibility to assist Mammo techs with patient flow
• Other office related tasks as needed
• May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must adhere to all department and facility safety protocols

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Medical office experience preferably in radiology
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Enrollment in a formal radiologic tech program is a real plus
• Bilingual (Spanish) required

$20/hr

Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
