About the Role
Indiana University Health Medical Group, in collaboration with the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Radiology and Imaging Services, is seeking a fellowship-trained Mammography Radiologist to join a growing team of highly skilled breast imaging specialists. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive breast imaging services across a multidisciplinary academic health system while contributing to the educational and scholarly missions of Indiana University School of Medicine. This position offers the opportunity to practice leading-edge breast imaging in a collegial environment with access to advanced imaging technologies, robust clinical support, and opportunities for teaching, research, and leadership development.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and perform a full spectrum of breast imaging studies, including:
- Digital screening and diagnostic mammography
- Digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT)
- Breast ultrasound
- Breast MRI
- Contrast-enhanced mammography, as applicable
- Perform image-guided breast procedures, including:
- Stereotactic breast biopsies
- Ultrasound-guided biopsies
- MRI-guided biopsies
- Localization procedures
- Aspiration procedures
- Collaborate with breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and primary care providers within a multidisciplinary breast care program.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and patient-centered interpretation of imaging studies.
- Participate in the education and mentorship of:
- Medical students
- Radiology residents
- Breast imaging fellows
- Contribute to curriculum development and educational initiatives.
- Participate in departmental conferences, tumor boards, and scholarly activities.
Qualifications
- MD/DO
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiology Residency
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Indiana
- American Board of Radiology certification (or eligibility)
