About the role

Indiana University Health Medical Group along with the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Radiology and Imaging Services is seeking a fellowship-trained Mammography Radiologist to join a growing team of highly skilled breast imaging specialists. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive breast imagining services across a multidisciplinary academic health system while contributing to the educational and scholarly missions of Indiana University School of Medicine. This position offers the opportunity to practice leading-edge breast imaging in a collegial environment with access to advanced imaging technologies, robust clinical support, and opportunities for teaching, research and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and perform a full spectrum of breast imaging studies, including: Digital screening and diagnostic mammography, Digital breast tomorsynthesis (DBT), Breast ultrasound, Breast MRI, Contrast-enhanced mammography, as applicable
• Perform image-guided breast procedures, including: Stereotactic breast biopsies, Ultrasound-guided biopsies, MRI-guided biopsies, Localization procedures, Aspiration procedures
• Collaborate with breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and primary care providers within a multidisciplinary breast care program
• Ensure timely, accurate, and patient-centered interpretation of imaging studies
• Participate in the education and mentorship of: Medical students, Radiology residents, Breast imaging fellows
• Contribute to curriculum development and educational initiatives
• Participate in departmental conferences, tumor boards, and scholarly activities

Qualifications

• MD/DO
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiology Residency
• Fellowship training in Breast Imagining preferred
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Indiana
• American Board of Radiology certification (or eligibility)
